BAHAMA HURRICANE SHUTTERS
These one-piece louvered shutters attach directly above the windows and prop open to provide shade for the window. Bahama shutters are storm-ready when lowered and secured to the wall.

COLONIAL SHUTTERS
These are two-piece louvered shutters that attach to the wall beside each window.
They fold together to protect the window.
COLONIAL SHUTTER PROS:
- Are permanently affixed beside the windows and don't require any extra storage space.
- Can be made storm-ready by one person.
- Are decorative; they can beautify as well as protect your home.
COLONIAL SHUTTER CONS:
- Require a storm bar for angle brackets to lock the shutters into place. This can increase deployment time.
- Can't be used to protect doors, and if the window is rather large, the colonial shutters may be thick.
